Booking and Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose and scope

This policy governs the conditions for booking pitches at Coveta Área Camper, as well as the cancellation rules applicable to customers.

2. Cancellation policy and nature of the advance payment

To confirm the booking of a pitch, a non-refundable 10% deposit of the total stay amount is required. This payment is an advance on the price and does not constitute “arras” (penitential earnest money). Its purpose is to secure availability of the pitch for the requested dates and it will be applied to the final price of the stay. Reference is made to the penitential earnest money regime set out in Article 1454 of the Spanish Civil Code.

Under no circumstances will the deposit be refundable or offset against services other than the booked stay.

3. Cancellations, changes, booking transfer and communications

Cancellation or change requests must be made exclusively in writing by email to the contact address indicated on the Coveta Área Camper website. A cancellation or change will only be effective once Coveta Área Camper confirms receipt of the request in writing.

• The booking is personal and non-transferable. Any change of holder must be expressly accepted by Coveta Área Camper.
• Date changes may be requested by the customer, always subject to availability and the rates in force on the new date.

4. Schedule (check-in / check-out)

• Check-in: 12:00.
• Check-out: 11:00.

If you expect to arrive later, please notify us in writing in advance so we can manage it.

5. No-show, late arrivals and early departures

• The booking will be held until 16:00 on the day of arrival. If the customer does not arrive by then and has not previously contacted the property to report a delay or change the arrival time, the booking may be cancelled by Coveta Área Camper and the pitch will become available again.
• A no-show on the day of arrival, without prior notice, will be treated as a cancellation.
• Early departures before the agreed departure date do not entitle the customer to any refund or discount on the booked stay.

6. Payment of the balance

The outstanding amount must be paid at check-in. Failure to complete payment upon arrival entitles Coveta Área Camper to cancel the booking in accordance with this policy.

7. Force majeure and liability

Coveta Área Camper shall not be liable for delays, changes or cancellations due to force majeure or causes beyond the property’s reasonable control (extreme weather events, fires, widespread supply outages, administrative restrictions, etc.).

In any case, Coveta Área Camper will only be liable for reasonably foreseeable inconvenience or damage occurring within its facilities when it is the direct result of an act or omission attributable to the property, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer rights.

8. Consumer information and right of withdrawal

Accommodation bookings for specific dates or periods are excluded from the right of withdrawal applicable to distance contracts, in accordance with Article 103, letter l), of the consolidated text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users (TRLGDCU).

9. House rules and proper use

• Keep the pitch and common areas clean and tidy.
• Do not disturb neighbours: avoid shouting or annoying noise and respect quiet/rest times.
• Respect the facilities, staff and fellow campers.

10. Acceptance of the policy

Making a booking and paying the deposit implies that you have read and fully accepted this Booking and Cancellation Policy.

11. Effective date

This policy applies from 01 December 2025 and replaces any previous version.

Applicable legal framework

• Spanish Civil Code, Article 1454 (penitential earnest money).
• Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU), Article 103 (letter l), exceptions to the right of withdrawal for accommodation services with a specific date or period).
